Covalent is the only software supplier that was formed specifically to develop and market Performance Management software for Local Government & Healthcare

Covalent's software suite transforms performance in customer organizations by aligning service delivery with corporate goals and strategic priorities. That's what we do. And that's all we do. Period.

Our goal is to make Covalent the leading global Performance Management software solution for Local Government, by offering the best functionality at the best price.

Covalent is now the UK market leader Performance Management software for Local Government and has a growing position in international markets with customers in America and Australia.

We secured our first customer, City of Orlando, in March 2008 in direct competition with a number of established local firms. Key factors in Orlando's decision were the strength of product functionality offered by Covalent CPM and the deep expertise that has developed from Covalent's experiences in the UK Local Government market.

We have since started with the Florida Benchmarking Consortium (FBC) a network of over 40 Florida jurisdictions that share data on performance measures for benchmarking purposes.

"With limited consistent information on how we were delivering our services to them we had a challenging role to say the least. Although there were basic processes in place and we collected the statutory PIs along with selected local indicators, there were no standard procedures for monitoring and reporting on Performance and no measured way of being able to compare data in a meaningful and consistent format. Only fragmented information was available and action and risk planning was done by each department in an inconsistent manner, making it time consuming and complicated to produce overall corporate performance information. Fortunately we had the budget to implement a PM software solution, and even though some managers in the organisation were initially wary of expenditure it what was perceived to be an "IT project", the results and changed reactions speak for themselves."
